how it all started
As a child, I LOVED school fundraisers (weird, I know) and I always tried my best. My mom always called me an entrepreneur. I begged my dad for us to get a puppy through elementary. In 2008, we found out that my mom had cancer. To help us during this difficult time my dad purchased his first dam, Vicki. Vicki came at a perfect time. She was an excellent distraction and comfort for all of us while mom was recovering. I also grew up taking art lessons and have fallen madly in love with the beauty of photography. My grandmother was an artist. My mom also called me her "flower child", I loved being outside and liked to go the natural route with products and food.
Now Parfait Mischen Goldendoodles is what my desires, personality, and goals have merged into. I'm passionate about providing other families with that same comfort Vicki was for my family growing up. I'm thrilled that I get to work from home while running my own business. I express myself in the images that I take, and enjoy selecting safe products for our pets. I'm very blessed to be able to run this company with my husband James. He has been cheering me on from the beginning. i never thought that I would be a dog breeder while growing up. But as life's road has unraveled in front of me, it has become clear that this is the path that i was meant to take. i'm thankful for the opportunities that i have been given and also excited on where it will take me.

Every few months I wake up with the burning desire to see something different and new. My favorite cities to see are rich in history and have their own unique architecture. Charleston is my personal favorite. (For the Jeepers out there, mine is named Jacqueline, Jacky for short.)

We actually can't remember the first time that we met, since we've grown up together. We played sports in high school and cheered each other on. His sense of humor kept me very entertained. We went to prom together for his Senior year and then mine. We were best friends then and still are now.
In 2013, we were married on a beautiful southern plantation. Before we celebrated our first anniversary, our beautiful daughter was born and stole our hearts. My parents thought we were crazy when we brought our sweet baby home from the hospital and a puppy home a few weeks later. They grew up together. Indy was our first dam for breeding. We welcomed newest addition this last March, and within a few weeks we already hiking with her and had a dog in tow. Now that you know a little more about our story, we look forward to hearing yours!
