“I love these little people, and it is no slight thing, when they, who are so fresh from God, love us.” -Charles Dickens

Ever since I was a little girl, I couldn’t wait to be a mother. I would daydream of what my life would look like with my children. I tried to take extra special care of my toys so that way my children could play with them too. I’m constantly picking up Hamtaro Ham Hams, Polly Pockets, Calico Critters, and American Girl toys. It brings me great joy.

I am now living my dream with my two sweet girls. Each one fills up every corner of my heart. Our mornings are slow and we love being at home and spending special afternoons in the mountains or impromptu field-trips. We have hot breakfasts in the morning and homeschooling mid-day. We read so many books and spend hours outside on our land with our dogs. I do actually stop and smell our roses, often multiple times a day when I’m filling up our golden doodle water bowls.

Little shoes collect at the door, stuffed animals pepper the floor, I’ve bought so many of those $3 big rubber balls at Walmart, giggles and silly songs fill the air and my heart. My daughters both said “doggie” as one of their first words, right after “mama” and “dada.”

Breeze stirs the curtains of my office and homeschool room, the view from the window is stunning. While independent school lessons are being completed, I update our website, talk to clients, and work on business details with my children at my side. During class, my daughter and I enjoy our tea time with my grandmother’s teapot. We talk about the business and my daughter tells me all of her ideas of what kind of business she wants to start.

Family dinners are a high priority and are followed with bedtime stories and goodnight kisses. I then say goodnight to our pets. I’m intentional about living as simple of a life I can with my family. My husband works hard, I’m deeply proud of him, he knows I love working at home and being with our children. I’m blessed to run a business that helps supports this dream. Thank you, dear clients, of PM. I’m forever grateful and appreciate for you supporting my small business that gives me the life I had always dreamed about.
